Limpy is a cane toad, who wants to stop humans running over his relatives. He decides to go to find a place where humans won't be able to run them over. He goes to look for a national park where humans wont be able to kill them, because they will be protected there. But when he gets to one it was under water, and then the second one he goes to the animals don't want him there, because he eats them. The rest of the story is about how he gets to toad heaven and gets out of a bucket.
I liked this book because it's funny and stupid. I would recommend this to people that like short funny books. This book is part of a four part series by funny author Morris Gleitzman. I give this book 8/10 by Joe

Teachers pet is a funny book about a girl called ginger whos allergic to cats.... but her family is cat crazy. When her principal gets bit by a dog her pet is framed and ginger has to keep him hidden. Her and her friends will try their hardest to stop their dogs getting put in the pound.this book is alright but its let itself down when they took the dogs to pet day. Shadow wave is the 12 book in the cherub series and it is a great finaly. Its about James and Kyle trying to stop Tan Dubi knoking down villages in Malasia. james tries to convince his sister Lauren to stop going on a mission to help Tan Dubi get nuclear weapons.This is a great book it has a bit of crime in it.I would reccomend it to people who like crime novels.10/10.
Divine madness is the 5th book in the cherub series. It is great. James goes to oz with his sister to get inside the ark. The ark is a place that survivors go. They are people with a belief all the other people are devils.Cherub thinks some one inside the ark is helping "Help Earth", a terrorist group. Help earth is an eco team, but they bomb oil boats. Geronimo’s uncle is very nasty and Geronimo was about to go to work at 7:00 and his uncle is very strict and wanted Geronimo to start work at five. Where Geronimo works his uncle fired all of the workers and Geronimo wasn’t happy. Geronimo’s uncle sent Geronimo on a trip to Egypt to see the cheese pyramid. Geronimo has always wanted to go and see, but Geronimo’s uncle sent him on the plane that always crashes and is nailed together and taped together and things like that.............. Eleven year old Grace has been brought up in a very strict way by religious nutters where questions are not allowed. This has become a problem for Grace as she is starting to grow up and be thoughtful about life. When her dad gets banished from the church she does everything she can to get her dad back. Plague is the fourth book in the gone series. it's about when a small town gets trapped inside a dome and all the adults disappear and some of the kids get freaky powers.
In this one a terrible sickness makes its way through the FAYZ that makes people cough their lungs up... literally. And if that’s not enough Drake is back from the dead with a giant bug army.
I rate this book 10/10 because its gruesome scary and at sometimes really funny.

The Recruit is about how James’ mum dies and he and his sister Lauren end up in Nebraska house. Lauren goes to live with her dad but James doesn’t know who his dad is. He stays in Nebraska house for a few days until one day he wakes up in the CHERUB campus. He has to take a 100 day basic training course which he is partnered up with Kerry. Kerry and James have a fight while basic training and they have to stay outside with no clothes on for the night. Read the recruit to find out what happens. Find out what happens to Keith More in Class A. I rate it 9\10 because it’s really cool.

Undone is a book of short stories by funny author Paul Jennings. It has see through people, dream people, bat people and even dream people. These are funny short stories that I personally enjoyed a lot. The one i particularly enjoyed the most was one where a kid stole a one of a kind beetle and it bites him. He turns see through and runs out into the bush and hides for 10 years.

Jason wakes up on a bus not knowing where he is or WHO he is. His 2 friends are on the bus with him Leo and Piper. Skulduggery and Valkyrie must fight mechinaloa to stop her destroying the world.
